Cross Lounge

Cross Lounge

Beautiful chaise lounge, designed by Per Emanuelsson and Bastian Bischoff of Humans Since 1982, was created to show that the cross has not only a semiotical meaning but also a practical function.

Celebrating the Cross 1 lounge will be presented at Röhsska Museum in Göteborg this summer.

Besides the fact that I don’t get how the cross is supposed to be practically functional, I don’t really get the pieces of wire/thread/whatever that is hanging down in it. It reminds me of stuff that gets left outside and then gets cobwebs and leaves all stuck in it.
