Shadow Photography

Creative photo series by Spanish artist and photographer Pol Ubeda Hervas.

“I’m Not There” images represent the change of Pol Ubeda’s personality:

“My shadow is there but I erase myself because I don’t know who I am any longer. I do not react in the same ways I used to. The shoes remain only to make sure there is something more than… a shadow.”

Kind of creepy but I really like it a lot. You couldn’t really do much more with the concept BUT it’s very deep and I’d go see it if it was at a gallery.

pretty cool. but it would be even more interesting if they were shadows of different people photographed in some way that conveys how each person lost his/her identity.
