Beneath the Stretching Cat Bench’s belly, concealed storage drawer offers convenient space for tools and accessories.

By studying the elegant arch and sloped posture of a stretching cat, the designer made a workbench that naturally supports clay wedging.

Crafted from 24 mm plywood panels, Stretching Cat Bench features layered wood construction that reduces overall weight.

Inspired by the familiar posture of a cat stretching after a nap, the bench is an example how an everyday studio tool can become a cool sculpture.
