Water-resistant and contaminant proof keyboard with tactile feedback keys.
The sealed and rigid surface is ideal for industrial, marine, and medical use, as well as other applications where moisture, cleaning, and durability are a consideration. Because the Really Cool is also quieter than “standard” keyboards, they are great for applications where noise generated from “key-clicks” is a problem. [buy now]

Looks great, but $199 is too much.

Wow, that looks just like those cheap $25 waterproof silicone keyboards except that it’s neither wireless nor backlit, something you have the option for if you get a $25 one.

Way too much for me! $195? Come on, I’ve seen non-waterproof ones at Radio Shack for $35.

They sell something suspiciously similar in flea market and chinese gadgetry shops here in Italy for 10€. Silicon, waterproof, washable and corded. Only they come in various colors.

I bought a roll up flexible waterproof usb keyboard (like the one used by the kid in die hard 4) for €7.
$199 is an astronomically ridiculous price.

Mr Practical
But it will cost you $200 callout + lost time, each time you need to replace your $5 keyboard

@Mr Practical,
And how’s the estimated cost for callout + lost time each time I have to replace this over priced 200$ keyboard?

This technology has been out for over 4 years.
The price mentioned is what they cost when they were first created.
You can now have them for $19.99 or $24.99 here, and other places:

This has got to be bullshit. I bought a black silicon waterproof keyboard on eBay for like $2.95 + shipping. Like $10 total. Kind of a pain in the ass to type on though. But for $190 cheaper, I’ll take it.

Yeah, a little overpriced methinks.

They think if they digg it there has to be some idiot who will pay $200 for $5 keyboard.
Im tired of scammers like this. Someone needs to hold them accountable.

Tigerdirect has this keyboard for around $25. We use them all the time with a local foundry customer. They work great except for when a bored foundry worker decides to pry the keys off. :)

Agreed that you can get the same keyboard for $5.

Oh, but I like spilling coffee on my keyboard and getting my boss to replace it every time a swanky new model comes on the market. Thankfully, I don’t think he would stretch the budget that far.

Yeah, you won’t sell a single one.

Since you cna get a keyboard for like £10 why not just buy another one if you spill water on it and break it?

Ripoff! Sealed silicone keyboards have been around for A while now, and for a fraction of the cost. I dont know what other types of gimmicks this company has but they had better think of something else.

i have used this type of keyboard it’s not flexible, they are solid and have what is called carbon point contacts, so the keys feel more like regular keys, and they are expensive because of the technology, not your typical ebay keyboard…
