In the square of Copenhagen’s City Hall, creative art installation features an oversized Jenga tower built from enormous wooden beams.
At the very top of Giant Jenga stands a life-sized sculpture of a rhinoceros, carefully balanced as if it might topple at any moment.
The tower is anchored by a green base with a text: “Sammen passer vi på verdens dyr”: (“Together we protect the world’s animals”)
Dramatic sculpture, created by Copenhagen Zoo and DBCO, symbolizes the fragile balance of biodiversity.
Just like in the game of Jenga, each wooden block represents a species on Earth, interdependent and vital to the whole.
As blocks are removed, the tower wobbles, warning of the ecological collapse that may follow.
By visiting the Copenhagen Zoo, supporters contribute directly to efforts protecting wildlife and ecosystems worldwide.
Natures Balance: Together, we can help steady the tower before it falls.
