Premium Garlic Packaging

Premium Garlic Packaging

Creative black garlic packaging shaped to look like a single clove of garlic made out of folded paper.

Towada Premium Black Garlic packaging designed by Keiko Akatsuka for the Towada Art Center Museum shop in Aomori, northern Japan.

White surface of the packaging was inspired by the ice and snow during Aomori’s harsh winters.

It represents the period when raw white garlic rests beneath heavy snowfall, gathering strength in silence and cold.

With the arrival of spring, white garlic undergoes a slow transformation, deepening into black color through fermentation.
