Two semi-transparent panels surround the light bulb to create the impression of a luminous bead cradled within a protective shell.

Nested Lamp designed by Deniz Aktay explores the relationship between light and transparency.

Layered arrangement softens the emitted glow and highlights the depth.

Interchangeable panels can be combined in various colours and levels of transparency,

By replacing traditional lampshades with panels, Nested Lamp strips lighting down to the essentials.

The soft diffusion created by the panels gives the light a cloud-like quality.
