Love the Solar Ark. I’m surprised I haven’t heard of it until now.
Apparently Gehry’s Massachusetts Institute of Technology building was a nightmare for leaks right away. I think they would have it all resolved by now though.

the burj fateh is a total ripoff of the burj dubai, so dubai is here in spirit. and the peter b. lewis building is actually not a building but a giant dollop of whipped cream on your cappuccino that you can walk into. (i think it’s actually kinda fun but there’s mixed and generally negative reactions around here. anyway, toxel could do a whole post just on gehry. and a whole post just on dubai for that matter)

love the crooked house.
it would be awesome if as a world we put more thought and effort into the designs of our living areas and made fantasy and art real life.
Imagine living in a town based off Alice In Wonderland, or one of the Dr.Seuss towns, or The Simpson’s Or Harry Potter, to me that would be amazing.

This is the kind of modern architecture that makes some sense to me, at least they’re funny. The piano + violin building is by far the most attractive, for beauty, few things can beat musical instruments.
