Orange lifeboats suspended high along the sides of buildings in downtown Vancouver to raise awareness about the dangers of global warming.
Lifeboats with the message “Stop Global Warming” served as a warning about the rising sea levels that could one day threaten city life.
The campaign extended to city benches, humorously marked with signs reading “Life Jackets Under Seat.”
And featured lifeguard chairs placed incongruously in pedestrian areas with signs stating “Lifeguard on Duty.”
Designed by Rethink for Offsetters.ca, an organization dedicated to helping businesses reduce and offset their carbon dioxide emissions.
The streets of Vancouver, Canada turned into a potential flood zone in this creative Stop Global Warming campaign by Offsetters.
Why lifeboats in the city? Lifeboats in the sky? To make you uncomfortable. To make you act. To make you think.
