It blows me away all the time what the mind can conceive and allow the hands to whip up. This is gorgeous. Too bad Marilyn Monroe isn’t around to enjoy this one.

  7. Gert

I can do the same thing in fabric… and cost a LOT less to manufacture. Clever idea but ultimately useless as you still have to wear cloths under it and I bet she is sweaty and it’s heavy too.

  9. Lilia Smiles

I think the ability to create a dress from a 3D printer is pretty amazing

@ Gert, You can probably say the same thing about the first loom when it was invented.

@ Gert, Don’t feel that you have to comment on EVERY topic. Try to see the possibilities and feel the positivity :-)

Just ignore him guys, he’s the resident troll.

Even though I can’t say that I found this piece to be engaging, there are some cool design elements (such as the holes that I assume were included in part because of the sweat factor), asthetics, and a new integration of two previously unassociated disciplines.

these 3d printers are going to be the death of us…. yesterday May 22 2013 they said they are going to be printing cooked food now!!!!!!
